New Membership Secretary

Steve Fish (DaffyEagle to his webfooty friends) will move from Minutes and Meetings Secretary to the vital post of Membership Secretary with immediate effect.

Steve, until recently gave much valued administrative support to the Board as Minutes Secretary.
He now joins Graham Turvey in the Secretariat, and will lead on the implementation of the new membership management system “In Touch” developed at Swansea City. This system has been commissioned by Supporters Direct, for use by Supporters Trusts.

The B.E.S.T. is in the lead group of organisations trialling the web based system, designed for large and small organisations with memberships.

The Board decision to use “In Touch” flows from intentions set out in the Business Plan 2008/9 and the Communication Strategy to improve and develop communications with current and potential members from the community and business.

Members should see the results of the new system early in the New Year. Good Luck Steve!
