A successful AGM

The AGM on April 16th was a successful evening for The B.E.S.T. With 21 members attending and 6 apologies being tendered, the response was actually higher than a year ago.

The minutes will shortly be produced for the website.

An important rule change was made which protects the money within the Capital Fund, making it subject to a 75% “yes” vote before any money can be transferred out to the BTFC Ltd.

This ensures we can wait to invest in BTFC Ltd until such time that agreements on accountability are possible. Your Board  sees it as a fundamental principle that the full value of any investment reamins with the Trust.

At present that could only be achieved by a legally agreed Loan Agreement with BTFC Ltd. In the future, a wider range of agrements may be possible.

Following the AGM, 20 people in four groups worked on topics which will help us take the Buiness Plan forward this year.
