SUPPORTERS DIRECT
Supporters Direct is the National “umbrella organisation” which successfully underpins and supports the work of all its affiliated Supporters Trusts in the UK –and its work is now spreading to other sports in this country and in Europe.

The Supporters Direct recipe is a simple one – it recognises the huge level of energy; skills; finance and positive networks available to clubs when they respectfully and intelligently, harness the goodwill of supporters in the running of the business.

Supporters Direct enjoys cross party support in Government; access to Westminster; Government and other grant funding; plus major commercial sponsorship and a host of other benefits in their support of football clubs in UK.

There are over 140 Supporters Trusts; 84 of which have shareholdings in their clubs; and 13 of which are in ownership of their club – often in harmonious joint partnerships with private owners.

Around 150,000 people are members of supporters trusts, and have brought over £30M into the game.
